College and Opportunity

I believe that having good qualities during the years of your college life is the best time for fostering these qualities because in college it is that time in a young man's life to make changes and commitment in benefiting his/her future.

Through My Eyes PT2

For me there was just no way I was going to stay home and go to community college. I knew that I wanted to branch out and experience things that I have never done. I knew leaving my parents and family would be difficult but it was something I really wanted to do. Being daddy's little girl and the baby of the family my parents did everything for me. But this, I needed to do for myself. I applied to at least 8-10 schools. And when I saw them I knew which ones I wanted and which I didn't. You just get this feeling that feels like home and than you know that's your number one choice. I don't regret it at all choosing to go away to school, I think for me I needed to do something different and switch it up. So in September I applied to Potsdam, and thats where it all started..

Thinking About Your Future

Jump Then fall

Heeyyy Guys!
So it's me again:). We just got back from Spring Break what a fun time. Where did I leave off? oh yes. Coming to college. Honestly If i could give one piece of advice to you all, I would say, "Jump" that's it. Take chances, go out and meet people. By doing so you meet people faster and begin to settle in with the people like you.  College is different. Yes they aren't kidding when they say it changes people, because trust me it does. In high school I was that sweet innocent textbook child. Coming to college dealing with everything made me more, let's say hippy like, carefree to point and just live for the moment. I know your parents say don't party but I say go for it. Be careful but have fun. Get your girls or get your guys and have fun. But study too, don't just stay in your dorms though you will not get far:). So yeah. My second piece of advice is go out, and meet people. You don't have to drink to be social, it's all your decision and this is how you will develop your character and who you are. So, this blog is about Jumping :) and no not on a trampoline jumping when it comes time to make decisions. Just like Twsift says "Jump then fall  <3" Later Guys!! :)
XOXO~

Through My Eyes PT1

While I was in High School I constantly got bullied. I absolutely hated high school, more than anything. In 9th grade I was bullied by my boyfriends sister and a girl he had cheated on me with. They bullied me all of the time for different things, they didn't care how it was affecting my life what so ever. In 11th grade my best friend decided to hook my boyfriend up with one of her friends which COMPLETELY ended our friendship, and than decided to make fun of me every chance she could. While people made fun of her, so you would question as to why she'd feel it necessary to bully someone after she had been bullied herself. But I have no clue so, you can ask her that.. I mean, I did have some good times in high school also, don't get me wrong. I played softball and was captain of the team. I played on a tournament team called the Dutchess Debs which I loved to play softball. There were points to where I was on 4 softball teams at once, and loved every second of it. I knew that I didn't like the people I went to high school with, so I thought that going away to college would be the best thing for me.
